Dia-Compe Gran Compe GC450 – high-quality center-pull brake in silver

The Dia-Compe Gran Compe GC450 is a classically designed center-pull brake for high-quality road, randonneur, touring, and retro builds. Its polished and silver anodized surface combines an elegant, traditional look with precise engineering.

The brake arms are made of forged A6066 aluminum. With an adjustment range of 40 to 52 mm, the GC450 is suitable for bicycles whose frame and fork geometry allow for this short brake dimension. According to the manufacturer, the weight is approximately 180 g per brake or 360 g per pair.

The equipment includes the interchangeable GC450 cartridge brake pads, the roller-guided 1245 cable guide, and the 1273-100 cross cable. The cartridge brake pads feature silver anodized aluminum holders and black brake pads.

Depending on the selected version, the brake is available individually for the front or rear wheel, or as a complete pair of brakes.
