The Dia-Compe DC-188 brake lever pair is inserted into the open ends of the handlebars. It is exclusively designed for handlebars with an inner diameter of 16 mm. The brown grip bodies and polished silver aluminum levers are particularly suitable for classic city, touring, and custom bicycle builds.

The brake cable housings are routed on the outside of the handlebars and, depending on the handlebar shape, underneath the handlebar tape.
